As part of our mission, Plackal builds world class software. Our mandate demands we excel on a wide variety of technologies and platforms. We currently run native apps on Android (Java), iOS (Objetive C / Swift) and Windows (C#) with the back-end running on Ruby (Rails) + Postgres + Redis hosted on AWS. The system effortlessly handles our volumes today (1 million+ monthly actives). To handle increasing volumes (Our next milestone is 5 million+ actives) and a more sophisticated platform (Analytics + Machine Learning + Bullet proof security), we are building highly distributed systems that scale effortlessly.
