Placecloud careers

Placecloud uses network effects to populate the world’s cities, towns and villages with stories, recorded by the world’s cultural experts, so that our users can develop a more meaningful relationship to the world around them.

Our app will allow users to explore the world - solo, or in groups of friends and fellow travelers - using AR and VR technology. We're leveraging network effects to build a world of geolocated expert short podcasts.

We've run a prototype and an MVP which have demonstrated strong demand from top flight cultural experts, including academics from Oxford and Cambridge universities. We're now (H1 2022) raising seed funds to build the Placecloud app, which will offer immersive social XR cultural travel. We're recruiting a Head of Product in parallel to the fundraise.
