Pionic.ai is an early-stage startup founded by Pascal Michel, Dr. Justus Schwabedal, and Mario Riontino Sabatino with the mission to radically simplify access to medical data for commercial AI. To achieve this, Pionic develops the first privacy-preserving marketplace for medical data and enables hospitals to monetize their data in a GDPR-compliant manner.
By making the supply of medical data abundant, Pionic will accelerate innovation in medical AI for the benefit of patients worldwide.

Headquartered in Berlin, we received the EXIST Gründerstipendium in December 2019 and already had the honor to present our vision at the European Commission’s AI conference in February 2020.
