Necessity lead me to dream of building Phomo. Whether it's a fun trip with friends, a meaningful family gathering, or a party to celebrate a loved one's birthday, we all create unforgettable memories which we hope will never fade. I found myself enjoying these memories, without an organized, easily accessible, and shareable method to reflect upon the good times. Phomo will be a mobile application where you can collaboratively share and save memories with the people who helped create them. Current photo-sharing mobile apps and Apple's shared albums fall short. Android users utilize one app, while Apple users primarily manage photos through shared albums. As a result, photos and memories shared between different smartphone users are saved within different methods and applications. Phomo aims to become the central source for all shared photos and videos. Phomo catalogs photos, videos, and albums by event. This key difference sets Phomo apart from other photo-sharing methods. Not only does Phomo streamline content sharing across smartphones users, Phomo also aids users in remembering little details often forgotten over time. Through Phomo, event creators can plan and share event details, invite friends, and track guest lists. Ultimately, after the event ends, all attendees are able to upload photos, videos, and albums to the event's page. Events are organized within the application, allowing users to access those memories and reminisce on event details.
