• Lead cross-functional teams through all phases of project development and execution.
• Ensure adherence to project timelines, budgets, and quality standards.

• Responsible for the detailed design of new products and components and modification and improvements to existing products from concept to full production.
• Involved in maintaining and advancing relationships with customers. Travels to customer, as needed, for design support. Annual travel 10% to 15%.

• Support Purchasing in supplier selection by assessing and qualifying new suppliers.
• Responsible for assessing and leading the implementation effort of supplier cost reduction initiatives.

• Takes ownership of the Quality Management System for assigned areas. Plan and execute inspection strategies for work cells to improve quality and optimize efficiency. This includes developing and maintaining controls plans and records consistent with the requirements set forth in the AIAG Advanced Product Quality Planning Reference Manual. Conduct capability studies and measurement system analysis; prepare visual aids to assist with quality determinations.

• Works closely with Senior Management of the Heating Division to define strategic objectives and goals and generate an engineering strategic plan to significantly grow the business.
• Evaluates technical information infrastructure and make recommendations to improve and optimize. Provides leadership for Product Development in making decisions on, and setting priorities for, new products or changes to existing products.Interfaces closely with Sales and Project Management to manage the pipeline of new projects coming into engineering.

• Financial and Operations Analysis

Develop, prepare and analyze monthly financial, operations, and other standard reports to identify business trends and focus areas
Develop, prepare and analyze ad-hoc reports as required for project and initiative decision support.
Develop and implement product profitability reporting and customer profitability reporting. Utilize this reporting to educate the organization on the financial impacts of business decisions.
Assist with budgeting and forecasting as needed. Assist with product costing as needed.
Analyze and interpret financial and operational data, reports, performance trends using metrics and key performance indicators supporting management’s use in planning and controlling operations.
