We have observed that there is a lack of digital payment solutions for the daily bus commuter across India. This is a dual problem since it affects the daily bus commuters and the travel operators.

Every day, around 7 crore people commute in government city buses and around 122 crore rupees is collected as traffic revenue in those buses per day. Almost 95% of the amount collected is through physical cash. This creates a need to carry loose cash mandatorily to the daily commuters while it leads to cumbersome cash handling problems for both the travel operators.

Apart from that, daily commuters don't have the provision to track live bus which unnecessarily leads to their time wastage.

The travel agencies on the other hand experience revenue leakage due to dependence on physical cash. Lack of AI/ML-based CRM causes poor fleet and route management and poor financial reporting.

As a solution, we have been developing a true contactless & cashless digital payment system for public buses by offering RFID based pre-paid Smart Card to the daily bus commuters facilitating the travel fare collection which would be coupled with our smart POS that would be handled by the conductor. It would be a smartphone & Internet independent closed-loop prepaid smart card solution. We are also developing a one-stop trip management app with live bus tracking and estimating the crowd status in the bus. This would lessen the need for mandatory cash payment in public buses and would also lessen the risk of germs & viruses spread through cash.

Solution for travel operators/agencies:

Provision of Live dashboard for travel & transnational data, seamless ticketing solution using NFC enabled POS machine hence minimizing the revenue leakage. Fleet and route optimization using AI & Data Analytics for ERP based solutions.
Overall, we have a pre-paid card and app as the end product for the customers while cloud-enabled infrastructure and dashboard provision for the travel partners/agencies.
