Jobs at Patients Know Best

Our development team's work focuses on a few major things: • expanding and improving the web application: patients, professionals, customer admins, and carers all use our web interface to work with & understand the data in patient records • refactoring the early codebase, relying on thorough automated test coverage to migrate to better structures and microservices (we're midway through this process) • integrations: customers send us medical data via our HL7v2 API, or via integrations with other major providers. We're expanding a FHIR-based REST API (and our new Angular-based web app uses it already) • and architecturally - every "feature" project includes related platform upgrades; we're gradually moving up to nation-scale patient populations We're fully remote, meeting up in person every 2 months for those brainstorming sessions where a video call just can't compare, and to bring the whole company together. We seem to hire a lot of developers who: • were enjoying their previous job, but were starting families and sought a more humane balance • who were keen to find interesting work that would also genuinely make the world a better place, not just convince more people to buy more things, or extract as much value as possible from a new niche market
