Hi, I’m Kat Slump, a former Division 1 golfer turned software engineer and founder. I’ve spent my career building products at fast-moving startups and high-impact companies like Apple, where I learned the power of thoughtful design and user-first thinking. Now, I’m combining that with my love for golf to fix one of the sport’s most frustrating experiences: organizing group events.

I started Partaake to help golfers and courses spend less time on emails, phone calls, and payment wrangling, and more time actually playing. The golf world is full of tradition, but it shouldn’t be stuck in the past when it comes to tech. With Partaake, I’m focused on making group golf simple, scalable, and fun, whether you’re planning a corporate outing or your 10th annual friends’ scramble.

I’ve done over 50 interviews with event organizers, golf pros, and course managers to understand the pain points behind the scenes. I’ve cold-called courses, built the product myself, and now I’m launching events that show how seamless the experience can be when tech works with the game, not against it.

Off the course, I love building from scratch, simplifying messy systems, and helping people turn big ideas into real things. I believe tech can grow the game, and I’m here to prove it.
