People at Pangea Chat

An idea was born in 2017 for a better way to learn languages. In 2019, our founder and CEO, Will Jordan-Cooley turned that idea into Pangea Chat supported by funding from Lighthouse Labs and the Center for Innovative Technology. In March 2022, Pangea Chat received $256,000 in funding from the National Science Foundation through a Phase I SBIR grant that allowed Paige Poole, our Learning Director and Product Manager, and Jordan Myers, our ML/NLP Researcher and Engineer to join the team. In December 2022, Pangea Chat was chosen as a recipient of a $75,000 Commonwealth Commercialization Fund through the Virginia Innovation and Partnership Corporation.
