Osler Diagnostics is developing a handheld diagnostic device capable of testing for a vast range of biomarkers, from just a pinprick of blood, in less than 10 minutes, at an accuracy greater than current lab testing, and at a cost of <$5/test. This device will disrupt the diagnostics industry, and healthcare more broadly, permitting more accessible, affordable, and accurate patient testing. The technology is based on years of world-class academic research from the University of Oxford and has been successfully proven in a research lab context. We are now moving to a development lab to create the prototype device, before going to market. We have received >£5m in funding in the past year and have already established relationships with large diagnostics companies. We are one of the more significant investments made by Oxford Sciences Innovation, enabling us access to their broad network of investors, advisors, and potential partners.
