We are a team of scientific modelers, health economists, and statisticians working on models and software to serve the needs of global development partners. We are based primarily in Australia (Burnet Institute), Denmark (University of Copenhagen) and the UK (University College London), with additional collaborators in 10+ countries. We work closely with global leaders in epidemiology, mathematical modeling, and public health, with focus on infectious diseases (including HIV, tuberculosis, malaria, and viral hepatitis), other areas in health (including maternal and child health and universal health coverage), and in emerging areas of global development (such as agriculture). The vision of our work is to improve global health and development outcomes through better decision-making in health resourcing and programmatic implementation choices. We achieve that goal by ensuring that decision makers have access to high quality decision-making tools and building the capacity of stakeholders to use the tools as a basis for decisions. We work directly with international funding agencies, country governments, and other key stakeholders to provide evidence-based recommendations on allocative and implementation efficiency across multiple health and development areas. The software and tools that we have developed have been used in over 50 countries across Africa, Europe, Asia, and the Americas.
