OnlineFuels was created in 2016 by James Stairmand, as the first online platform in the downstream oil industry. So far we have created a marketplace that sits between buyers and sellers of fuel in the UK. We are now actively looking outside the UK as well. The industry itself, is old fashioned and we know that in the next 5 years the market is going to change drastically, and technology will play a pivotal role in this. We aim to be the company driving that change and creating new ways of working, not watching them happen or even worse, just doing things a certain way because “that’s how they’ve always been done”. In the next 12 months, we will be entering new geographies, launching new products and working alongside some of the biggest names in the energy markets. OnlineFuels is seen as an innovative business that will change an old fashioned industry. We are all highly driven individuals looking to genuinely change a market and how it operates.
