People at Ohana Helps
Why should you join Ohana? Because I’m not looking for employees to quietly complete tasks. I’m looking for people who want to help build something that could genuinely change an industry. I’ve spent years in home services. I’ve dealt with the customers, the handymen, the cancellations, the bad estimates, the missed calls, the scheduling problems, the payment issues, the great jobs, the terrible jobs, and all the little things nobody understands until they’ve actually lived it. That experience is what led to Ohana Helps. I know what customers wish existed. I know what independent service professionals need in order to run better businesses. And I know this industry is still way behind where it should be technologically. So we’re building the thing I wish had existed years ago. Not just a marketplace. Not just another booking app. We’re combining quoting, scheduling, payments, customer history, vendor business tools, marketing, AI, automation, communication, trust, accountability, and a much better experience for both sides. But I also know I cannot build the company I see in my head by myself. I want people around me who are smarter than I am in their areas. People who care. People who ship. People who notice when something is mediocre and feel compelled to make it great. People who want their fingerprints all over what we build. There will be hard days. We’re a startup. Some days will probably make a taco truck look like a fantastic career decision. But if we assemble the right team and execute this properly, I believe Ohana can become enormous. And if that happens, I want the people who helped build it early to have real ownership, real pride, and a real story to tell about being there when it was still just a handful of us saying, “Why doesn’t this already exist?” That’s why I think you should join Ohana.
