We're a technology company passionate about solving one of the deepest and most pervasive pain-points for many New Yorkers: renting an apartment. Right now, because supply and demand for apartments are incredibly out of proportion in New York (many people want to live in New York, but the supply of apartments is limited), bad market inefficiencies develop. In New York City, brokers control access to information and apartments, often purposely obfuscating clear information in an attempt to get your business. We want to solve that problem through our technology: leveraging data online to equal the power disparity. We're building a small, multi-purpose team, and we all wear many hats. We're revenue focused, ship constantly, and experiment before we develop any new technology, or deploy any new feature. We're looking for people who can grow and develop with us. We're language agnostic and we don't believe in silly titles or hierarchies. If we say we're looking for a developer, we're looking for a talented developer who is curious and can learn: not a Ruby/Python/Front End/Back End/Lead/Junior/Senior/Project Manager or any other title developer.
