Neuraura's initial clinical product is a brain monitoring platform for epilepsy surgery comprised of proprietary electrodes, wireless EEG hardware and 3D visualization software. It will improve the field in a number of ways:
Improved patient outcomes:
• Lower reoccurrence of seizures due to more accurate pin-pointing of seizure foci, including more “natural” seizure data from less stressed patients
• Less brain tissue removed due to improved clinician confidence with better quality data
• Shorter recovery in hospital and at home as a result of ambulatory care enabled by wireless EEG system
• Lower risk of bleeding / infection due to minimized invasiveness with equivalent brain coverage with 5-8 burr holes versus 15-18 (hybrid electrodes)
Improved patient experience:
• Less tortuous experience through ambulatory care enabled by wireless EEG system
• Potential for in-home monitoring for some patients
Reduced clinician burden:
• Improved patient compliance to diagnostic monitoring due to improved experience
• Fewer clinician hours to review data
• Shortened surgery times with 5-8 burr holes versus 15-18
Reduced healthcare system costs / increased throughput:

Neuraura will leverage its proprietary microsensors and the unique electrophysiological data set from epilepsy patients to unlock the field of neuromodulation for widespread application based on:
• More insightful clinical trials: integrating Neuraura’s electrodes to gather insights on stimulation effects
• Improved device efficacy: leveraging brain monitoring platform as pre-implantation assessment to personalize positioning of electrodes; integrating Neuraura’s electrodes into neuromodulation devices to adjust stimulation protocols
• Broader application of deep brain stimulation (DBS): integrating Neuraura’s insights with individual’s pre-implant assessment
