NEDDIE is a social impact tech company built for non-profits and donors. We are connecting more donors to more non-profits than ever. Our technology provides non-profits better visibility and products that help decrease overhead costs to ensure more donations are received by the cause they support. We empower donors by providing them the ability to choose how they want to engage with non-profits while enhancing their donor experience. Donating is on the rise. In 2017, in the United States alone, an estimated $410.02 billion was given to charitable causes. There are approximately 1.5 million non-profits in the US, and less than 1% account for the larger non-profits who receive the majority of donations. NEDDIE wants to give exposure to the other 99% of small to mid-size non-profits that are changing the world. From donating money and services to participating in marathons or fundraisers, donors want the power to choose how they engage with the cause they support. NEDDIE empowers donors and enhances donor experience making it a platform that donors trust. One of the biggest concerns for donors is “how is my donation being put to use?” It is estimated that for every dollar a donor gives, 35 to 40 cents are spent on the non-profit’s overhead costs. For a non-profit to operate and create impact for the cause they support, there are basic operations that a non-profit needs to cover. NEDDIE wants to provide non-profits products and services that will ultimately cut overhead costs and aims in achieving that for every dollar a donor gives 80 to 90 cents goes directly to the cause. NEDDIE wants to provide to both donors and non-profits transparency, simplicity, and the support they need to focus in the success of their cause.
