Today, consumers are moving away from standardized food found at supermarkets and want to choose their food. They want authenticity, transparency and yet there's a major supply-chain-wide problem: A growing disconnection between Supply with excessive food wastage and Demand. The market is fragmented and inefficient. Our mission is to make authentic and hard-to-find foods readily available. We connect Food artisans and Specialty Food Brands with consumers by cutting the middlemen. myPanier is a unique market where foodies can access local foods, domestic specialty foods not found at supermarkets, and international specialties. We support local and international specialty foods by selecting the finest makers and multi-generational brands. Size does not matter for us: We believe small is not necessarily the synonym of beautiful, nor big is the equivalent of evil. We believe in Authenticity, Fairness, Transparency and Community. We see myPanier as not just a purveyor of Amazing Foods, but a conveyor of Emotions. We believe (candidly?) great people make great products, and we take pride promoting each on our site. We are currently founding our seed round.
