munshiG aims to bring in an affordable yet intuitive solution, by bridging the gap between Kirana and technology.

munshiG makes billing hassle-free by physical-digital integration. We capture the bill on the go as the kirana vendor speaks out the items. This we do by transcoding the speech to bill and capturing the outgoing items at point-of-sale using NLP(Natural-language processing). Barcode database of the FMCG products is a supplementary feature, enabling a Kirana person to bill barcoded products as well. The vendor can also SMS the bill to the consumer, which brings in transparency and cuts down paper usage as well.

By integrating these features into an Android application, we are able to bring a low cost solution with a technical twist, which gives us a clear upper hand in the market. Eventually munshiG will help them in varied tasks such as stock management, loan approval, improving customer experience and making accounting so easy that the vendor need not go to an accountant.
