• Lead software commissioning, integration testing and operations of highly complex and distributed industrial systems.
• Own the integration of mobile robotics systems (AGVs/AMRs) with manufacturing/material handling equipment, including robotic arms, conveyors vision systems, and peripheral sensor devices as per system design.

• Design and develop software for motion planning, kinematics, and real-time motion control.
• Build and maintain software layer that drives physical equipment – robot arms, conveyors, scanners, printers, grippers and sensors – including PLC handshaking and signal exchange

• Lead the design and implementation of robust systems, processes, and tools to elevate Mujin systems and software quality, reliability, and user experience.
• Contribute test coverage, tooling, and simulators across a multi-repo software ecosystem spanning robot control, material handling equipment integration, and fleet/mobile robot services.

• Benchmarking Hardware and PLC Systems

Compare our new hardware against competitor PLC systems.

Define test protocols and scenarios, execute tests, document results, and summarize conclusions.

• Assist in the design and development of mechanical components and systems using AutoCAD and SolidWorks
• Collaborate with the engineering team to create detailed technical drawings and 3D models

• Assisting in the development of real-time planners, both for multi-agent motion planning in Mujin’s Autonomous Fleet Management product or for higher-level task planning and scheduling in Mujin's Warehouse Execution System

• Design, develop, and optimize robotic system software using C++/Python
• Implement and integrate algorithms for robotic manipulation tasks such as picking, packing and material handling.

• Generate accurate and detailed electrical documentation for our systems and subsystems, including dedicated electrical enclosures, using EPLAN
• Collaborate closely with suppliers to ensure the manufacturing of electrical cabinets adheres to NEC (NFPA70), UL508/UL508A, and other applicable industry standards

• Lead and manage a team of engineers, providing guidance, mentorship, and performance evaluations
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop control system architectures for Material Handling equipment and robotic applications
