Mopetta Replicas careers

Egon Brütsch produced 14 examples of the Mopetta between 1956-8. It is the smallest car in the world.

Unfortunately it never succeeded in becoming a production model, although it was planned in partnership with Opel at the time.

An immaculately restored example has come up for sale in the last weeks for 39,000€ ( 41,000 US ) in Switzerland.

Stage 1 and 2 would put us in the position to take orders and begin manufacturing. My aim is to produce 1000 units on a pre order basis.

The construction itself is a relatively simple one - a steel chassis plus motor configuration and a fibreglass shell as the basis.
Stage 1: Purchase of the restored vehicle -
$41,000

Stage 2: Preparation of body mould and chassis/ motor construction and completion of at least one replica - $ 30 - 40,000
