Modello is a social-commerce platform in the realm of fashion. Users share/upload their own fashionable looks/style-statements for people to follow them and earn a share of revenue through targeted advertisements placed on their posts. Modello is content driven. Apart from people flaunting their looks, fashion bloggers/stylists write fashion-relevant content, brands and designers can showcase their products, all wrapped up in a trending feed of information.
Currently, Modello aggregates products from both domestic and international Fashion giants in a ‘affiliate marketing’ environment
and plans to go the ‘market-place’ route post solid traction. Modello aims to be a fashion e-commerce platform where users ‘blogging’ about their looks inspire fashion and influence sales, whereas the ‘visiting’ users / onlookers get to discover relevant fashion and make an informed decision while purchasing.
