For far too long, young India has approached career decisions based on an unguided cocktail of secondary research, hearsay, pre-conceived notions, and career counseling that has remained far disconnected from the ground realities of an ever-changing job market. The pandemic-ridden years and the "Great Resignation" that came with it have merely given us a slice into an impending career crisis that India is at the cusp of. There is a huge achievement gap between career goals and the jobs people end up choosing to do. We aim to change that. We are changing the way India approaches careers. Mentorsphere believes in the power of experience and the strength of focused guidance. We connect students and early-stage working professionals to industry mentors that guide them towards career clarity. Our mentors are industry experts, senior professionals, and entrepreneurs who have come together to build a Mentorship Movement in India, one where knowledge-sharing becomes an integral aspect of work culture. One where no one ever settles for just any job for lack of targeted guidance We are in the initial stages of launch and are looking to hire our founding team members. We are that group of people that are brimming with passionate energy, and the hunger to create. A very small group at the moment, but the common link binding us together is our undying desire to see a change in the archaic way careers are chosen in this country. Interestingly, each person associated with Mentorsphere has had a similar journey of struggling to find a career fit. Working with us will be an exciting journey of building a movement that's bigger than us, of gaining a work family that chills just as much as they work hard, and of seeing a change being built right from scratch!
