College admissions in the US are getting fiercely competitive year after year. On the other hand the college counseling offered at most High schools is either non existent or of very poor quality. Private counselors are expensive. Our platform provides an easy way for High school students to find and connect with mentors who are college students who have recently gone through the college admissions process themselves and are in a great position to provide direct, relevant advice on all aspects of college admissions such as how to stand out in college essays and more. Being closer in age to the High school students, our college student mentors are able to "connect" with the High school students right away and are able to bring out the best in them. The college students are able to provide not just practical, actionable advice but also emotional support during the entire college admissions journey. High school students see our mentors as role models and an inspiration to go after their dreams. College students are able to make a little money on the side to help with their own dreams. Being online, the whole process is convenient, affordable and there is no physical running around required by the parents of the High School students.
