MegaBots, Inc. is bringing the giant robots of video games and movies to life as the future of sports entertainment. The MegaBots League blends high performance robotics technology with eSports - combining all of the fantasy-league elements of human-piloted competition with the most compelling live action sports franchise since NASCAR. We're building (and empowering 3rd party teams to build) 15-foot-tall, 15,000 pound, internally-piloted humanoid robots that fire cannonball-sized paintballs at each other in epic, football-stadium-sized battles. The robots feature breakaway armor plating, limbs that fall off with explosive bolts, sensors, hyper-targeting systems, and cameras capturing the action from every angle....all of which is taking place in a stadium arena where fans help affect battle outcomes through real-time video games and fantasy sports components.

The MegaBots cofounders include world-class robotics engineers coming from Boston Dynamics, Eaton Corp R&D Lab, etc.
