The Problem: Most people need assistance with basic financial matters. They do not have the data, the time or the ability to answer simple questions on their financial status.

The Solution: Ernest is a financial assistant that learns who you are, answers your financial questions and helps you set up realistic savings goals.

Ernest will answer questions such as: “How much deposit do I need for a house in this postcode area? and how long will it take me to save this?" or “Can I afford a new car?” or “How much can I set aside for my children’s education?”, etc.

In addition it will allow the user to set a specific savings goal, the time to reach this and the method the individual should use to save. For example: "Save the Change" method rounds up every expense the users carries out on his debit card to the next pound and saves the excess. Alternatively Ernest "intelligence" will calculate a safe amount for the user to save given normal income and expenses.
