We are contributing to the open-source development of Mediachain because we believe that a shared data network is a necessary foundation for new media applications that natively reward creators, communities, and content owners. Open and interoperable metadata forms the strata upon which developers can build new experiences around persistent attribution and deliver analytics beyond platform walls. The decentralized design of Mediachain offers organizations the means to collaborate and consolidate presently fractured cultural information while obviating the political decision to assign a central gatekeeper.
