DotLab careers
Endometriosis is under-diagnosed and under-treated, largely due to dismissal of women's symptoms and pelvic pain. To date, surgery has been required for diagnosis of the disease and there is no non-invasive test, leaving women today with a 10 year diagnostic odyssey.
On this basis of DotLab's EMPOWER clinical trial -- the largest-ever study to improve the endometriosis standard of care at more than two dozen top academic sites across the country -- DotLab has developed the DotEndo test, which has the potential to result in a true paradigm shift where endometriosis is identified prior to significant disease progression. DotEndo minimizes unnecessary procedures and referrals aimed at ruling out other conditions, lessen the symptomatic burden, and narrow the disparity of care for pelvic pain in underserved populations by democratizing access to a top-caliber clinical diagnosis for endometriosis.
Women’s health is an underserved market, today representing less than 5% of healthcare research spend. DotLab has been named as an “Amazing Medical Breakthrough” by Reader’s Digest and as one of the “Fierce 15” companies by FierceMedTech, and has ambitious plans to expand beyond endometriosis.
