We're a small, scrappy team where everyone has a real voice — not just in how we build the product, but in how we shape the company and culture. As one of the founders, I might spend the morning refining our messaging or sharpening the product vision, then pivot to an Amazon order to stock the kitchen. I'm constantly asking for input: What do you think of this copy? How does this one-pager land? Did you like the new chocolate I ordered? We trust each other to do what we say and hold each other accountable. And while we move with urgency, because we have to, we also genuinely respect that people have lives outside of work. Two of my favorite moments every week are our lunch and learns — where I either get to geek out over something cool from the engineering team, show off one of my random vibe-coded apps, or share what I picked up from customer meetings that week. It keeps us tight and keeps information flowing in every direction. One of the things I'm most proud of is that everyone on the team genuinely wants to talk to customers. We'll hop on the train to visit local customers every couple of weeks, not for a sales call, but just to understand their actual business, see their problems up close, and watch them use the product. That kind of curiosity isn't something you can mandate. It has to be in your DNA, and it's in ours.
