Masref provides Swiss saving accounts for the middle-class in distressed economies. Think countries with high inflation, banks that cap withdrawals, no trust in banks, or no financial services like insurance and investments. By leveraging emerging technologies, Swiss banking infrastructure, and its recent regulatory changes, Masref provides the middle class in these countries with what they never had – a safe place to store their savings. Masref will first provide simple USD saving accounts, before offering other financial services. We intend to begin in Lebanon.
