LULIO careers
Suicide prevention programs in schools traditionally utilise large-scale screening. In an attempt to standardise results, questions regarding suicide are reduced to simple yes/no checkboxes. In addition, pen-and-paper questionnaires are not only time-consuming to administer and analyse, but relies on youth to be honest and adept in their emotional awareness. Finally, suicidality changes over time and it cannot be screened for once a year only.
LULIO allows schools to have an ongoing assessment of suicide risk without the clumsiness of traditional questionnaires or the over-reliance on self-report. With compelling video games created for young people, suicide risk is detected as they play. A competitive and level-based structure means students will continually log in and play throughout the year. Data-points of risk are then sent to the school via a simple dashboard interface.
