Sometime in 2020, while playing a round with friends and a caddie, I realized how amazing I was playing by listening to the expert course knowledge shared by my caddie; yet, most golfers will never experience anything close to what I was in that moment. Caddies are a rare indulgence for a golfer - unless you’re a PGA/LPGA pro or a member of a private course you’ll probably never experience the benefits of a caddie guiding you through a round. The epiphany stuck with me and after finding out there was no technology solution available to golfers that replicated the caddie experience I set out on a path to make one. While golf has largely remained chained to the past, the game is at the beginning of transformation and technology will play a big part in shaping the future of the sport. Golf participation is surging led by a large influx of new youth and female golfers - adding each year to the $80+ Billion industry in the US.
