Research Operation Manager / Scientific Project Manager (Synthetic Immunology, Cell Therapy) (Remote and Flexible) Logomix is hiring an experienced PhD-level Research Operation Manager / Scientific Project Manager who will explore new research partnerships with various biotechnology companies and academic labs by understanding our business needs and by advocating the merits and advantage of Geno-Writing™ technology. As a central team member who is a direct report to the CSO, Yas Aizawa, this position will seek further business opportunities and establish our business footprint in North America. The position will also act as a liaison who facilitates business/scientific correspondence with current and new collaborators and business partners in the US. This position will also require business travel (up to 10% of FTE time) to business meetings and relevant conferences in cell therapy and genome editing field. Our US office will open in New York City and your employment status can be flexible (i.e., full-time, part-time, CW, independent consultancy, on-site, WFH, etc.). Key Responsibilities include: - Guiding internal programs from inception, in vitro optimization, and to in vivo studies. - Establishing translational strategy to advance our internal cell therapy programs. - Advancing our in-house efforts in iPSC-derived immune cell therapies. - Reaching out to academic investigators and industry labs to identify new opportunities/technologies/model systems where we can expand the application of Geno-Writing technology to create differentiated cell therapy products. - Managing cross-functional projects and teams. - Working closely with internal and external stakeholders and CRO to ensure the success of individual projects. Basic Qualifications: - PhD in immunology, cell biology, or biotechnology. - 3+ years of industry experience in biotech/pharma settings. - Practical knowledge in cell therapy product development and/or genetic engineering of immune cells.
