About Literati... Based in South Austin, Literati is a new kind of bookseller. We’re focused on solving the specific challenges parents face when finding the best books for their children. We work with top educators and librarians and pour thousands of hours into obsessively researching the world’s best books. Every month is a brand new production. A new theme, with new original artwork, new extras, and a brand new set of books. Everything is returnable as we stand by our selections. Our mission is simple: to make parents and children cherish reading together by building a vibrant product and community that sparks imagination, builds intellectual curiosity, and encourages audacious thinking. Since launching at the Texas Book Festival in November 2016, Literati has grown to be a force for good within children’s literature. We’ve launched 20+ different original theme box experiences, curated and featured over 400+ top children’s books, commissioned original artwork by dozens of famous illustrators. We want to get people offline, discovering incredible books alongside their kids, turning reading into a ritual, and being in the moment. Our team is made up of world-class product people, pixel-perfect designers, philosophical hackers, and straight-up hustlers on a mission to build revolutionary excitement in literature.
