SPARX is the only video game that is clinically proven to reduce depression in young people. SPARX has been tested in multiple clinical trials. The largest clinical trial was published in British Medical Journal comparing playing SPARX to traditional psychotherapy. Playing SPARX resulted in a 44% remission rate (no longer depressed) compared to 26% for traditional psychotherapy. Playing a video game was more effective at reducing depression than therapy. Results were so impressive that SPARX was selected for the cover of the British Medical Journal, one of the top medical journals. SPARX has won numerous international awards, including a UNESCO award.
