Kamersin.nl is not just another website to find student accommodation. We strive to a radical change in the way we think about finding a place to live. We believe it should be free. Without compromising. This affects the way we think about our business and its model. It affects the relation we have with our customers. It even affects the way we see the world. Kamersin.nl in the first place is not a for-profit website. It is the heir of a lively Facebook community where rooms are offered and found on a daily basis. This is where we come from, and this is our legitimacy. This genuinely impacts the way we think about that thing previously known as ‘customers’. We are the customers. We are the ones who are tired of paying for something we should not be paying for. We are the ones trying to find a good place to live. And we are the ones who want change. This means we do not see the world as something out there to take profit of. We see it as something to take care of. What goes around comes around. Take care of each other. Act normal. That kind of old fashioned stuff. Sounds naive? Maybe. But let’s just give a try. At Kamersin our primary job is to help people find a place they love to call home. We do all within our power to prevent fraud, abuse, exploitation and all such nasty things that comes with a dysfunctioning market. And we do all within our power to make it as transparent, easy and cheap as possible. So that's for the dreams and the dreamers. What have we done? We've created a platform that is free to use for both students seeking accommodation or offering accommodation and for landlords seeking a tenant. We made it easy to connect with those who put the advertisement online, either via chat or via our booking system. And further: easy to generate lease contracts, create maintenance request, collect the rent and more. Everything is created to make it easier for our users. We love to think big for the future, and would love your help with it!
