At Kalmus Labs, we are building human-centered AI tools for learning and growth. Our first product, BookBuddy, transforms any document into a guided conversation that adapts to you - explaining concepts in plain language, asking smart questions, and making study feel more like dialogue than drudgery.
The problem we are tackling is that learning and work have become increasingly isolating and mechanical: PDFs, jargon, endless tabs, and no real support. AI today often feels like a chatbot toy or a corporate tool for efficiency, not for people. We believe technology should make learning feel alive, personal, and empowering.
