K4 Mobility provides advanced Internet services to the maritime industry, with a focus on yachting and merchant shipping. K4 solution is unique that it provides an on-vessel service-controller called Katalyst, K4 Azure Cloud data aggregation and local/remote vessel management via a Katalyst Application. The solution is based on modern principles, with a focus to make the service Simple to manage, Reliable and Powerful by putting the control in the hands of the vessel-operator. Self-service is a core concept for our service, and this is provided via the K4 Katalyst IOS/Android application. The Katalyst application must be intuitive and simplify workflow for the non-technical operator. As a Senior Mobile Application Architect at K4 Mobility, you will have the opportunity to lead the Katalyst application design and implementation, work closely with vessel operators, business and engineering leadership, and with all the other technical teams in the organization. The development environment is Agile based, with sprint releases that allow for coordinated, timely and impactful development. Architect ideally is located in Chicago area, however remote locations are acceptable.
