Ionomr produces Aemion™ and Pemion™ ion-exchange materials, either as membranes (thin plastic films either freestanding or cast onto a rigid backer) and ionomer (functional electrode binder as powder or solution).

Ion-exchange materials are core technology that enables electrochemical systems to work; their lifetime limits system lifetime and their efficiency significantly affects capex and opex. Ionomr’s materials offer improved material lifetime and performance in the conditions demanded by industry while remaining competitive on other metrics. Competitors to Aemion™ have insufficient chemical tolerances to meet customer needs for enhanced performance and operational range, and few possess the ability to customize their solutions to end-market users.
