Our team currently consists of 22 people - developers, designers, researchers and managers - collaborating remotely across 10 countries. We are a UK domiciled business and both our company directors live and work in London, UK. London team bios: InferStat Ltd was founded in June 2017 by Tom Oliver, the current CEO, with our core mission - to help traders and portfolio managers maximise the value of their research - inspired by his work for 15 years in credit analysis and market risk methodology. Tom has both produced primary research sources himself (as a sovereign credit analyst at Schroder Plc) and created and reviewed models of market physics (Natwest Group plc, JPMorganChase & Co.), as well as undertaking academic research on trading optimisation for his University of Oxford in Mathematical Finance (MSc, 2010). Tom originally studied Natural Sciences, specialising in physics, at the University of Cambridge (MSci, 2004), followed by professional qualifications: IMC and CFA I-III. Joelle Grogan joined as a director in 2020, and works on business development. She is a legal academic based in a London University, with expertise on UK and EU law. She holds law degrees from Trinity College Dublin (LLB, 2011), and the University of Oxford (BCL, 2012; DPhil 2016).
