Imbed Biosciences has developed patent-pending microfilm dressings for advanced wound care, surgical devices, and drug delivery. Imbed is a spin-off from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. After several years of development, Imbed has an FDA-cleared product---MicroLyte Ag--- an antimicrobial wound dressing intended for use at the onset of treatment of hard to heal wounds including burns and chronic ulcers.
