• Design, build, and scale end-to-end data products on Databricks (and interoperating with Snowflake) — from ingestion through curated, analytics-ready datasets following a medallion (Bronze/Silver/Gold) architecture.

• Represents the integrated solution strategy to senior leadership, providing the connective narrative that links component-level roadmaps into an end-to-end plan
• Defines and maintains a cohesive product strategy, roadmap, and business plan for an integrated clinical solution spanning instrumentation, software, and assay content

• Partner with the Head of Strategic Finance and work directly with the CFO and other members of the Executive and Finance Leadership Teams, across all relevant financial analysis and modeling in support of assessing, recommending and structuring deals to support corporate initiatives and strategies.

• Define reference architectures, design patterns, and platform standards for AI-enabled enterprise applications spanning web, mobile, and backend services.
• Partner with the Principal Architect to develop multi-year technology roadmaps that align cloud, data, AI, and application strategy with business objectives.

• Read, interpret, and communicate changes in technical regulations, directives, and standards.
• Review new and existing designs to ensure compliance with the latest directives and standards.

• PMO Leadership & Execution Excellence

Lead the R&D PMO to ensure execution rigor, predictable delivery, and operational discipline across a complex R&D portfolio
Ensure initiatives are delivered on time, on budget, and to defined quality standards, with strong risk and dependency management
Own and continuously improve PMO standards, methodologies, governance and tools, including fit-for-purpose product development and delivery frameworks
Integrate AI into PMO processes to increase overall project delivery efficiency

• Shape and evolve the vision, scope, and mandate of the R&D Strategic Partnership Management function
• Establish a clear operating model, governance, and decision rights to enable speed, accountability, and transparency

• Define hardware requirements and specifications based on system-level performance needs
• Debug complex embedded system issues and perform comprehensive root cause analysis

• Define hardware requirements and specifications for assigned subsystems based on workload, power, and environmental constraints

• Responsible for overseeing RUO and IVD product development teams as well as on market- support for clinical assay and next-generation sequencing library preparation products.
