If You Can careers

If You Can is centered around the creation of the first educational standards-aligned SEL Game for youth. Founded by Electronic Arts' founder Trip Hawkins, If You Can seeks to build and scale critical social and emotional learning skills in elementary age children via an inspired and engaging game platform.

An iPad version launched in Q1 2014, and an institutional product (for use in schools) will be later launched for an ever-widening target age range with support for more platforms/devices including all tablets, smartphones and PCs. It will include embedded assessments of students' progress, and include a dashboard for parents and teachers showing progress and discussion prompts.

Learning objectives include changing attitudes and increasing behaviors to support students' understanding and managing their emotions, setting and achieving positive goals, feeling and showing empathy for others, establishing and maintaining positive relationships and making responsible decisions.
