HR DataHub is an early stage, well funded high growth technology business disrupting the HR industry by providing access to robust, granular data via an intuitive user interface. This allows B2B clients to benchmark themselves against peers across multiple facets of the HR spectrum (including reward, diversity and inclusion, learning and development, recruitment). There are two significant trends in the HR sector. The first is a desire to include objective, data-led observations within decision making. The second is a focus on demonstrating commitment and progress towards equality within the workforce, particularly across gender and race. An example of this latter trend is that governments globally have started mandating companies to report on their gender pay gap. Many companies choose to go further and are providing more information than needed, including their plans to develop an inclusive and equal culture. The focus on workplace ethnicity, and improving race equality within organisations has come into ever sharper focus. To make people-related decisions, companies need to not only understand their internal data, but to track that data against other organizations. This is difficult, expensive, and time-consuming for them to achieve. The HR benchmarking market has not evolved at all in the last 20 years. It is dominated by the large HR consulting businesses that charge high consulting fees and have long lead times. HR DataHub is creating an alternative approach.
