HotEnd Works has developed a 3D printer, the HDfab system, which utilizes advanced materials such as advanced ceramics. Advanced materials are used in a broad range of industries which include Consumer Products, Aerospace, Defense, Alternative Energy, Semiconductor, Automotive, and High Technology sectors.

The HDfab system utilizes a unique technology, Pressurized Spray Deposition (PSD), which is capable of producing high performance components. This system can use a very wide range of materials, including customer-provided propreitary advanced materials which have a proven track record. The HDfab fabrication times per part are reduced by 75% when compared to it's competitors because of the patent-pending fociJet nozzle design. This nozzle design allows the size of the deposition pattern to be altered during the printing operation, such as reducing its size for fine features and enlarging the pattern to decrease component print time.
