We have built a platform to meet the duty we have to all our clients - homeowners seeking to improve their financial lives and institutional investors who entrust us with their capital. We don't take ourselves too seriously, but we do take our responsibility as a company very seriously - we have the opportunity to have a positive impact for our clients, and it motivates us every day. We are looking to hire team members seeking a clear purpose and role, who have a desire to take ownership of their role. We expect every member of the team to understand the "why" of what they are doing on a daily basis - and if the "why" is not clear, it is important that you challenge the team by asking "why". This ensures alignment of mission which ultimately becomes our biggest differentiator and key to our success. We have a high level of intellectual curiosity, and we seek to learn from each other at any opportunity. Each member of the team is here because they bring a unique capability that is critical to the company's success, and with that comes both accountability and respect at all levels. The company is led by a team with a proven track record of building fintech companies from their earliest stages through successful exit. We are currently a remote company, with the intent of formalizing offices in Raleigh, NC, Park City, UT, and Bellevue/Seattle, WA to create a hybrid work environment. We believe that the opportunity to interact in-person with our colleagues drives personal and professional growth while enhancing continuity of vision and alignment across teams, but that ultimately each team member is responsible for delivering their contribution to the team and should be treated as a professional to determine where/when they execute on that responsibility. As a result, we believe in a culture of flexibility and a focus on work output, not "time in your seat."
