Who is Sawyer?
Sawyer, A DaySmart Company, founded in 2015, simplifies registration for children’s activities. Our two-sided model offers registration software for activity providers and a marketplace connecting parents. Recently acquired by DaySmart Software, this milestone will help achieve our mission faster. Join our innovative, mission-driven team during an exciting growth phase!

Sawyer is a fully remote 50 person organization distributed across the US. We have recently been acquired by DaySmart, a 400+ person company. Our collaboration hours are 9am-5pm EST Monday-Friday. This is a full-time salary position that is exempt from overtime pay.

The Role:
In this role, you will master essential sales skills - qualifying prospects, pioneering our SDR program, and helping shape processes. We take pride in equipping talent with training, coaching, and autonomy to drive results.

The position entails cold calling and scheduling demos to generate pipeline for our Account Managers and Senior Account Managers. There are opportunities for career advancement which typically follow a timeline of about 6-12 months. Successful team members can become eligible for promotion into roles with increased compensation, commission potential, and responsibility.

What You’ll Do Here:

  • Source well-qualified leads daily
  • Arrange discovery calls and well-qualified product demonstrations for our Account Executives
  • Prospect new business through outbound calling and email/social outreach
  • Consistently achieve outbound prospecting goals on a weekly, monthly, and quarterly basis
  • Work closely with Account Executives to onboard the best potential partners and support the top of the sales funnel
  • Identify advantages and key differentiators as compared to competitors within various markets
  • Maintain detailed tracking of sales activity within Salesforce
  • You will create organized plans that ensure customer success post-onboarding

What You’ll Need To Thrive:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree
  • Experience: 3+ months of sales experience, with a preference for candidates who have successfully sold software as a service *** Expert Communicator:** You love cold prospecting and speaking with new people over the phone
  • Organized: Organizational and time-management skills
  • Punctuality: Being on time helps you establish a good reputation and allows others to trust you. It also shows respect for the other person's time.
  • Action Oriented: You are easily able to adapt to a fast moving company where the product is still evolving
