Whilst it’s acknowledged that business aviation provides great time savings and flexibility, chartering an aircraft is time consuming and complex. This reflects a highly fragmented supply side: hundreds of small operators, whose inventory is resold via independent brokers. Each user request to brokers is passed on to multiple potential operators to check for availability and pricing. Brokers add commission and relay gross pricing back to the traveller for negotiation and payment. The result is, users wait too long and pay too much.
