Hearken has been road-tested and highly successful in newsrooms across the USA, including WBEZ in Chicago (known for Serial, This American Life), KQED in San Francisco and many more. Content created with Hearken significantly outperforms newsroom's average content in pageviews, uniques, shares and time on page.

The Hearken platform also serves as a powerful tool to generate leads for membership and subscriptions. Participating newsrooms have found 56% of the emails collected through our model are new leads.

Our network of shared insight surfaces questions that lead to high-performing stories, and we share those with other newsrooms in our network so they can then localize.
