Haystack is creating the online marketplace for brick-and-mortar inventory, taking the pain out of physical shopping and helping save local retailers.

Haystack allows users to search, pick-up and get delivered the collective inventory of brick-and-mortar stores, and drives additional foot-traffic to stores. Ultimately, Haystack helps retailers form a collective last-mile product delivery network with economics and speed currently impossible in e-commerce, and optimizes their product selection, inventory and pricing.

Haystack leverages machine learning in conjunction with available inventory data and user feedback to include every store’s inventory at varying levels of product detail and in-stock likelihood. Haystack’s self-learning predictions can quickly approach real-time inventory, even for local stores lacking sophisticated inventory software.

Haystack’s live beta covers every store in the U.S., and is focused on integrating more real-time inventory feeds before launching.
