We are tackling HAI's (HealthCare Associated Infections) through innovation, marketing, and education. It's funny; consumer education directly results in exposing shortcomings of our current system. However, the goal is to make it better...right?

My entire family works in healthcare. It is our belief that the healthcare environment is no less risky than law enforcement and firefighting. Hospitals and Nursing homes are breeding grounds for infections, yet industry pretends they are not. Industry is just now highlighting patient infections; but what about the risk to the worker?

We believe patients and healthcare professionals would benefit from implementing antimicrobial protected gear in their environments as an added benefit to combat microorganisms. Is this really any different than kevlar or other technologies used to assist in hostile environments?
